Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthi Government Ayurveda College, Raipur is affiliated to Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. The college offer course in the field of Ayurveda .In 1955 it was undertaken by government to run graduate courses and develop as a college. The golden contribution of late Shri Khudadad Dungaji made it possible to establish Ayurvedic Hospital in the premises of college.

Vision

To build a centre of global excellence in quality Ayurveda education by preserving, propagating and developing evidence based knowledge of the disease through quality teaching, medical care, training, research and link between tradition, science and technology to focus on the potential inherent for future.

Mission

Trapping the hidden potentials of the young generation minds by establishment of the facts of the disease through evidence. The college aims a transforming the world of Ayurveda through quality education, approachable, accessible, appropriate, affordable, accountable and appreciable service in classroom teaching, clinical training and research, so that the commitment to centre of excellence is achieved.

Objectives

To provide speciality medical care to the people.
To propagate Ayurveda towards improvement of health care and mainstreaming of AYUSH system in the state.
To encourage innovation in teaching impart reorientation training and continuing medical education to Ayurveda.
To promote research activities for capacity building and skill development.
To do collaboration and traditional exchange programme with other institution of the country for development of Ayurved system of medicine.
To find a cure for the incurable in true tradition of Ayurveda.
To explore the marginal formulae of the folklore medicines.
