The Gangotri Human Resources and Development Society Allahabad (U.P.) is a registered Public Charitable Society formed with the main aim of rendering social and public services to the poor, needy and downtrodden population of the Society. Not only social well being but also the physical and mental well being of the society at large, by providing education and medical facility at the State, National and International levels.

The Chairman, Mr. D.S. Pandey and  the Managing Director, Mr. V.S. Pandey  are the Visionaries and Core-force to the Society.  The society would not have seen the light of the day but for the distinct, farsighted and extraordinary approach of these Visionaries. Both have been engaged, since long, in Social, Educational and Medical Services. It is because of their zeal, enthusiasm, determination, patience and perseverance that the society has given shape and progress to various projects. Their constant untiring efforts, dynamism, unique style of functioning and promoting the team spirit amongst those involved in the task, have made it possible to achieve success in the projects. The Institute of Dental and Medical Sciences, along with a General Hospital has been conceptualized as a center of excellence in Dental and Medical Sciences training and research.

The society has achieved the target of establishing a Dental Institute with excellent teaching and research facilities. Its B.D.S. Degree has been recognized by the Govt. of India, Dental Council of India, and the  affiliation granted to it by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna University, Srinagar Garhwal Uttarakhand, thus, this dream project has come to its existence with its rightful name as “Uttaranchal Dental and Medical Research Institute” situated at Mazri Grant Haridwar Road, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
