Vilasrao Deshmukh College Of Engineering And Technology, Nagpur was established by Shriram Gram Vikas Shikshan Sanstha in 2008. The mission was founded by the couple Smt. Rajkamal & Shri Baburaoji Tidke in 1985. The college currently has 1500 students enrolled under different courses.

Vilasrao Deshmukh College of Engineering and Technology is situated at Mouda in a well known industrial belt just 30 kms from Nagpur on Nagpur-Bhandara Road. The College is affiliated to RTM Nagpur University. 

It is Approved by AICTE New Delhi and DTE, Mumbai, Government of Maharashtra. This College is governed by The SriRam Gram Vikas Shikshan Sanstha, established in 1985 by a devoted and dedicated couple, well known in the field of social works, Smt. Rajkamal and Shri Baburaoji Tidke.

The mission started with agricultural experimentation and growth of the poor farmers which automatically generated demand for agro-industries. The rapid development of the region under globalization inspired them to start various educational institutes at Nagpur and Mouda.
