BHU UET About

The entrance test conducted by the Banaras Hindu University for the admisssion in Undergraduate courses is known as BHU UET Banaras Hindu University Undergraduate Entrance Test. The courses which are offered for studing through this entrance test are undergraduate courses of Schience, Arts and Commerce. IT is a national level extrance test exam held in approx 20 centres of exams in India.

BHU UET Eligibility

Those who have passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognised board of India are eligible. Candidates from out side India with equivalaent degree are also eligible to appear this extrance test. Candidates who have given exams and awaiting for result of 12th are also eligible for appearing of BHUUET.

The Minimum criteria of marks for appearing BHUUET is given below.

BHU UET Registration Procedure

Given are the steps to Register yourself for the BHU UET online.

1) Go to the main website www.bhuonline.in and enroll yourself online. Ensure to enroll yourself with the valid mobile number and e-mail address as all the exam related updates and communication will be sent to the registered mobile and email address only.

2) Candidates are required to fill up the Authentification Form giving the particulars of their Authentification only after succesful registration from the portal. Candidate are required to fill their Adhar number as the authentication particular and carry it while examination for the authentication.

3) Candidates can fill for the desirous course details in the online Application form only after the authentication of Identity.

4) Candidates then have to upload the scanned copy of their signature and photograph.

5) Candidates then need to make the payment for application form either by online mode or in cash through "Challan" in any branch of HDFC.

6) After successful submission of Application form and payment candidates can take out the print of duly filled form and payment receipt as the proof for record.

BHU UET Admission Procedure

Admission in the courses through BHU UET is strickly based on the merit list that prepared on the basis of entrace exam.

Below are the important steps involved in the admission process for various undergraduate programs.

1) After clearing the entrace exam a merit list on the basis of marks will be preapared and selected candidates are called for next step of admission that is counselling. Candidates can download their call letter from the candidates segment of the online portal.

2) After the issuing of call letter and receving of password candidates shall fill for the Preference Entry Form which is available in the candidate segment of the Entrace Test Online Portal.

3) Reach to the counselling venue on the given time and date and mark your attendance by the signature with Councelling Centre Incharge.

4) Discuss to the teacher available at the counselling venue regarding course, availibility of seats, hostel, location and fee structure. In case change of any preference candidates can contact to the incharge of counselling venue. Once the preference form is filled, signed and submitted along with the verified by the verification desk, no changes can be made in that.

5) Candidates have to submit the fees and present the receipt as proof in the given period of time deadline otherwise the admission will be withheld automatically as it is considered that the candidate is not interested. This proof is not required in case of payment of fees through online payment mode like netbanking or through debit/credit card.

BHU UET Important Points To Remember

Important Points that need to be Consider while applying for Admission in Banaras Hindu University

Adharcard is a mandatory document to present as the authentification particular.
Candidate seeking admission under reserved categories(St,SC,OBC) have to submit the proof verified by any of the grade I officer like District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate/Collector/Deputy Commissioner etc.
If ST/SC candidates seeking admission in any other category then they have to fulfill all the minimum eligibility criterias set by the govern body for that category.
Once the Prefernce Entry form is signed by the candidate and submitted, no further changes can be made.
If Candidate fails to submit the necessary original documents then the admission will be withheld.
If the Candidate fails to submit the fees or show the proof of submission of fees in the given deadline then the admission will be withheld and considered as the candidate is not interested.
