DTU M.Tech Admission OVERVIEW

Delhi Technical University offer addmission in master of technology on the basis of GATE- 2018 score. Delhi Technical University starts the registration on 10 May 2018. DTU M.Tech Admission ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Before applying for the DTU M.Tech Addmission Test Candidate need to check the eligibilty criteria. The Eligibilty Criteria is given below read carefully before applying-

Candidates must be GATE qualified.
Candidates belonging to General category must have secured minimum 60% marks in their qualifying degree or equivalent CGPA provided by their respective institute or university.
However, candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PD categories must have secured minimum 50% marks in their qualifying degree and candidates belonging to OBC category need 55% in their qualifying degree.

DTU M.Tech Admission APPLICATION PROCESS

Registration: The candidates have to register themselves using their email id and date of birth.
Filling DTU M.Tech 2018 Application Form: Personal, academic and contact details have to be filled by the candidates.
Upload Photograph and Signature: A photograph and signature of the candidates as per the required specifications will have to be uploaded.
Payment of fee: The application fee has to be paid through online via net banking/credit card/debit card/cash card/mobile wallet or offline mode (demand draft).

DTU M.Tech Admission COUNSELLING

Candidates who are shortlisted needs to download the counselling letter before the counselling get started. The counselling of DTU M.Tech 2018 will be conducted on the basis of GATE scores of the candidates. The seats will be allotted to candidates at the time of counselling, which will be conducted in two rounds followed by a spot round in case of vacant seats. After document verification, candidates may face an interview or a written test. The allotment of seats will be announced after the payment of fees.

DTU M.Tech Admission MERIT LIST

DTU has released the common merit list of DTU M.Tech 2018 on July 5. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE normalized scores and ranks accordingly. The merit list of DTU M.Tech admission 2018 will form the basis of counselling and seat allotment. DTU M.Tech merit list 2018 will be separate for each discipline and category.

DTU M.Tech Admission CUTOFF

The authorities of DTU will release a cutoff determining minimum GATE scores. On the basis of this minimum GATE normalised scores, merit list will be prepared and counselling will be conducted. The factors that helps in preparing cutoff are number of candidates, seats availability, difficulty level of the exam and previous year cutoff trends.
