JMET is a entrance exam which is conducted by IITs(Indian Institute of Technology) for the management courses. All IITs such as IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Dhanbad, IIT Chennai etc. Mainly, in the field of education, there are several cut-throat competitions that are hard to crack. Every year, around thousands of students prepares and sits for entrances but there are very few who qualify these exams. What More Than an IIT ?
It is a dream of every individual to become a part of IIT. One of the most common courses among the students is MBA, and to get a degree of MBA, no better option could be there as IIT. JMET is the exam that is held to crack the entrance of MBA from IIT. If you are through with this entrance, you will be getting one of the golden opportunities to study in IIT, which is the aim of several students but very few could achieve. Those students, who have the confidence and potential to attain this success, can very well achieve. No one could ever stop if you possess these qualities.
Constituents :
JMET requires potential, confidence, skills, ability, concentration and the will power to attempt the examination. A proper study of the subjects is required to qualify the competition. There are basically seven sections in the question paper: verbal communication, logical reasoning, quantitative ability, probability statistics and frequency distribution, probability calculations and concepts, and data interpretation. These are the major sections that are being covered by JMET. Your English language and mathematical skills should be perfect.
About The Exam :
Before applying for this exam, you should be clear with the main requirements, such as a draft of Rs. 750 for the general category and once of your recent photograph. The form will be available from the IIT website http://www.iitk.ac.in/gate. There are four sections in the examination paper: verbal communication, data interpretation, logical reasoning, and quantitative ability. The total number of questions provided are 120 that you have to complete in maximum 3 hours.
