• Bhagwant Global University

Bhagwant Global University is a private university established in 2016 under the Govt. of Uttarakhand. This University offers different study programs that come under UG, PG, and Diploma courses. • Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya

Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya (Dev Sanskriti, or simply "DSVV") is an Indian university located at Shantikunj near Haridwar city in the state of Uttarakhand. Established in 2002 by the act of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly it is a fully residential university. Run by Shri Vedmata Gayatri Trust, Shantikunj, Haridwar (headquarters of All World Gayatri Pariwar), it provides various degree, diploma, and certificate courses in areas like clinical psychology, Yogic science, alternative therapy, Indian culture, tourism, rural management, theology, spiritual counseling, etc. It also provides courses through distance learning mode.

• DIT University

Established in 1998, the Dehradun Institute of Technology (DIT) was founded by the Unison Group. The University acquired the status of Deemed University in 2013 approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC). The University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across various streams such as Engineering and Technology, Architecture and Design, Economics, and Applied Science, and so on.

The University is part of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It has been recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Council of Architecture (COA), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is an ISO 21001:2018 certified University.

DIT University is the first University in Uttarakhand to receive QS I-Gauge E-Lead, a certificate for exceptional e-learning methods such as academic digitization.

• Himalayan Garhwal University

Himalayan Garhwal University (HGU) is established and incorporated by the Government of Uttarakhand Act No. 33 of 2016. Vide Notification no. XXXVI (3)/2016/48(1)/2016) of Uttarakhand Shashan (Vidhayee & Sansdiya Karyavibhag) and under Section 2(f) of the University Grant Commission (UGC) Act, 1956. Himalayan Garhwal University is situated in a peaceful and pollution-free environment close to the nature of the Garhwal ranges of Shivalik hills. The Motherhood University (MHU) is a university in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. It was established under the Uttarakhand Govt. Act 05 of 2015 and is recognized by the UGC with the right to award degrees U/S 22[1] by the UGC Act 1956, The university campus is situated in the vicinity of the river Solani on 12 acres of land at Roorkee, on the Roorkee-Dehradun Highway.

The University is promoted by "Motherhood Institute of Management & Technology Society". The Society was established in 2004 with the objective to provide education, research, and training to the youth of Uttarakhand and the country in order to increase their employability.
