Bhagwant Institute of Technology (B. I. T.), Bhagwantpuram is the brainwave of the NRI’s and Engineers with a total commitment to quality and excellence in academic pursuits. The Bhagwant Education Development Society is a non-profit making philanthropic organization. The Institute is self-financing, residential and co-educational institution for Indian and NRI students. National Board of Accreditation

The New Education Policy of 1986 had recognized the need for a statutory Body at the National level responsible for overseeing the growth and quality of Technical Education in the country. Accordingly the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was established by an Act of Parliament (AICTE Act No. 52 of 1987) in 1987. As a part of its programmes and activities, the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) was set up by the AICTE in September 1994, for the purpose of assessment of Quality and Accreditation of Technical programmes in India The NBA is also concerned with assessing and assuring the quality of the various constituent elements of the Technical Institutions, such as academic ambience, infrastructure, financial resources, physical resources, human resources, supporting systems like library resources, computational resources, and avenues to mould and develop the students’ personality and learning characteristics.

In order to cop up present competitive scenario the overall development of the students along with academia is necessary BIT cater this lead by providing BITians with effective platform in the form of various Extra Curricular Activities. To participate in the activity of at least any two club is compulsory for each students. Each club is guided by Faculty Officer In charge and run under the leadership of student President, Vice President, Joint Secretary and treasures.

Cultural Club:

Cultural Clubs promotes the Creative side of the students by organizing various events such as dance competitions music competitions, dumb charades, fashion shows etc. the cultural club is one of the most famous clubs of the campus, where the students enjoy the colourful environment and participate full heartily & cheer out their lungs.

Personality Development Club:

The motto of Personality Development Club is to develop character with competence. The club emphasizes on invoking hidden soft skills which are very vital to stay and deal in the current scenario of cut-throat competition.

Cyber Club:

This club attract the students who have genuine interest in today's cyber world. The interest has become life of the all industries and the cyber club holds seminars and conferences from the basics of a computer to the latest development in advance technology.

Logix Club:

Logic is the key to success and this club nurtures the prodigies in the field of software development as well as logic implementation.

Photography Club:

All the nature lover's delight is the photography club. This club is very popular among the student who show keen interest in the photography. As they say photographs captures emotions and remain forever as memories the photography club nourishes the budding talent.

Movie Club:

The Movie club holds the premier of the latest movie weekly on every saturday. The students enjoy themselves throughly with the fun filled movies and enjoy a gala time. The latest Bollywood & Hollywood releases are showed to keep the students entertained.

Science Club:

The Science club conducted numerous activities throughout the session to nurture the talents of the young engineers. The students showed their interest by actively participating in the various quiz competition, models, charts conducted by the Science club.

Sports Club:

The sports club of sports events in the college life can't be underestimated. So, the Sports club has facility of all games and sports including cricket, volleyball, football, basketball etc. The students are trained under professional coaches for all the sports events held in the campus.

Sahitya Parishad:

The sahitya club or the library club was successful in attracting a lot of potential from the students. The artist and writers make a remarkable growth by participating in all the club activities.

Yoga Club:

The art of living based upon the ancient philosophy of yoga which is the root of the Indian Culture. "YOGA" which means addition of the human soul to the super power. This gives us spiritual and mental satisfaction. The Yoga club activity teaches the art of Yoga to its member for their physical and mental well being.

To provide instructions, teaching and training in Higher education in the field of Science, Technology, Management, Medicals, Arts, Commerce and to make provisions for research, advancement and dissemination of knowledge so as to emerge as a premier center for learning & Research in various spheres of Science, Technology, Management, Medical Arts & Commerce.
To create higher levels of intellectual abilities and to contribute to the higher education sector of Developing states and countries at an affordable cost.
To establish state of art facilities for Technical and Professional Higher education and other disciplines of learning
To carry out teaching and research and offer continuing education Programmes.
