Applicants must provide relevant documentary proof of participation and/or medals. The Sports Committee under the Director of Sports takes the final decision regarding the scholarship. The scholarship is initially provided for the first semester, while continuation is decided according to university policy.

Scholarship for Children of Manav Rachna Employees

Children of MREI employees may receive a 25% tuition fee waiver, subject to a maximum benefit of INR 25,000 per year, for the first child.

If the first child is already receiving a merit scholarship, the benefit may be passed to the second child, where applicable.

Sibling Scholarship

MRU provides financial benefits to eligible siblings of students already enrolled in Manav Rachna Higher Educational Institutions.

An eligible sibling can receive a 10% tuition fee waiver, subject to a maximum of INR 5,000 as a one-time benefit at admission.

The university also provides a 10% tuition fee waiver up to INR 25,000 per year to eligible alumni of Manav Rachna schools or higher educational institutions when they take admission in programmes offered by Manav Rachna HEIs.

For BDS students of MRU who subsequently take admission to MDS at MRU, a 5% one-time tuition fee waiver is available under the stated policy.

Scholarship for Only Girl Child Candidates

MRU provides a scholarship/financial benefit for eligible only girl child candidates.

The university specifies a 10% tuition fee waiver, limited to a maximum of INR 5,000 as a one-time benefit at admission, for eligible UG and PG candidates who have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

The ranking is determined through the combined assessment of qualifying-examination marks and the university's aptitude test.

For continuation, scholarship recipients must meet academic and behavioural requirements, including maintaining a minimum 8.5 CGPA or the highest percentile of the class, at least 85% attendance, no active disciplinary proceedings, no backlogs/reappears and completion of the prescribed academic load.
