Who is qualified for ANM and GNM?

The aspirant should have achieved least education requirements and have passed class 12 with Arts, Commerce or Science streams (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) alongside English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science - Vocational stream from a perceived Board.

Aspirants who have passed class 12 with Arts, Commerce or Science stream directed by the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) are additionally qualified to seek after ANM and GNM recognition courses.  

Aspirants ought not to be under 17 years old as on December 31 of the year in which admission is looked for.

The aspirant must be medically fit and admitted once in a year for GNM nursing diploma.

For GNM Nursing Diploma
